1952 Conn 10M Naked Lady Tenor Saxophone ORIGINAL CASE VERY NICE

1952 Conn 10M Naked Lady Tenor Saxophone made in USA! This 10M was manufactured by Conn in 1952 during the end of the 10M production in Elkhart, Indiana. This sax has been in storage for most of its life and is in fantastic condition.

The condition of the sax is very good overall. The saxophone retains its original lacquer finish. The naked lady engraving on the bell is very sharp and looks beautiful. The body is in great shape as well.

I do see some various small surface scratches on the finish but nothing major. The lower bow of the sax has a dent which can be removed by a skilled repairman.

There is also one post which anchors the high F rod located near the top of the body which looks to have been pushed in just slightly, this does not affect functionality at all and could be addressed by a repairman if the owner chooses to (photo #10). The original neck is in very nice shape with beautiful lacquer and no pull down. The pads on the sax are an older set of period-correct Conn reso pads which was the proprietary style of pad that Conn used for these 10M saxophones. The pads are a bit older but are still in good shape. The sax hasnt been played in about 15 years, I would recommend the saxophone receive a full adjustment and service prior to active playing.

Includes the original Conn hard shell case which is in great condition. Overall the sax is in really nice shape and has survived very well for its age.

These Conn 10Ms are incredible saxophones, their tone is extremely unique with a big, loud American sound. They are getting harder and harder to find and will only be going up in value. This is a great example and it will be a fantastic professional sax for the new owner!
