1979 Custom SELMER BUNDY II Tenor Sax with Original Case. This tenor has been disassembled, lightly sanded, primed, and then painted with red metallic w/red flake paint. Choice brass areas were masked and the bell was artfully etched for a "Sunburst" effect. This horn arrived pretty beat up; most notably around the bow with some dings on the neck and body. I smoothed out what I could but some of the denting is still noticeable (see pics #4 & #9).The body and the neck were clear coated for extra protection. The keys were cleaned and polished, but still show normal wear. New red felts were added and the pads, springs, and corking were replaced where needed. Various accents were added for an interesting artistic look.
The emblem on the bell was lastly added; it's the inverted symbol of the "Ukranian Trident". I was looking for something angelic to mark the horns that I "redo" and happened across this. I hope you like it too. The case is in very good shape with normal wear and scuffs. This beautiful tenor comes with a new pad saver, a new neck strap, a red microfiber polishing cloth, and a new "Bundy" tenor sax mouthpiece w/new ligature and Rico Plasticover Reed.
A very nice tenor for the student who also enjoys the arts. SHIPS ONLY TO THE LOWER 48 STATES OF THE UNITED STATES.
