This 50+ year old sax has been housed in the desert southwest, the arid climate has helped preserve the brass from "red rot" and general deterioration of the brass and pads. I've had this'20 for a while with thoughts of restoring, unfortunately I need to liquidate the piece.

I think it was a public school horn or possibly military, it's seen a lot of action. There are areas in the lower stack and bow of dent removal and not a great job of that. Theres evidence of the bell being straightened, but I see no serious issues structurally and I've been playing it for quite a while, it plays smoothly with wonderful tone, it's just no raving beauty, fine for studio work though, or personal enjoyment. The palm high D key post has some epoxy (see last picture) where it had loosened from the body, that can easily be repaired by a qualified tech, but there is no movement in the key assembly itself with it being solid with epoxy. The pads were replaced recently with not many playing hours on them, they do all seal well, so no worries about having to replace any pads. The neck is in good condition with new cork.

The Selmer case is functionally sound, the original case I had to throw away, both end locks work but the center clasp is missing a piece. The sax really fits nice and tight in this case, better than the original King case. This can only be calculated after knowing the location and cost and if additional funds are needed, you will be invoiced when the cost is known.
