Extremely versatile tones with different mouthpieces, hard rubber vintage MP for classic jazz or Guardala style for full on brighter fusion and of course an Otto Link NY STM will always do the trick for you dyed in the wool jazz players. There is a small ding on the bell edge as noted in picture with blue circle around the ding.
The overall condition of the sax is very good, with no dents. The wear pattern of the key touch pearls and key cups indicate it was played for many years by the same person. Since I don't have the full history of the sax I can only say, after the rebuild in 2012 it is the very best MK VI tenor I've ever played, with smooth light key action and tonal resonance. As you can see by the pictures what lacquer is left is very dark as most of these early VI's are. I will rotate pictures to illustrate the sax and the fine points of the rebuild periodically, if you want more specific information or photos, please message me.
There are many more pictures on the social media sites. I have traveled with this case as a carry-on on Southwest Airlines many times, I cannot vouch for any of the other airlines.
This is a professional model saxophone which requires regular maintenance to stay in top playing condition and those cost, if any, will be absorbed by the owner.
