Vintage Conn "Pan American" Tenor Sax in Good Playing Condition. This tenor has been cleaned and adjusted; pads, felts, and corking were replaced where needed. Cosmetically, there is lacquer wear from normal use (69 year old horn), mild denting on the bow (see pic #8 & 9), repaired crease on the front inside bell lip, the lyre holder is a little compressed into the upper stack, and one small ding just above the serial number (difficult to see). This horn has that Pan American full sound with the included B5 Woodwind mouthpiece. Also included is a sturdy case for vintage tenor saxophones, a vintage neckstrap, a microfiber polishing cloth, a cleaning cloth weight, and a ligature, cap, and Rico Plasticover reed for the B5 mouthpiece. A rock-solid horn for most any engagement. SHIPS ONLY TO THE LOWER 48 STATES OF THE UNITED STATES.
Note: When revising this listing, I lost all the info above and had to rewrite it. Let me know if I missed anything. Also, check out "Pan American, is it all just a Conn" on the Headwind Music blog (compares this horn to a 10M).
