This instrument is widely considered the best. Instrument to learn the saxophone on and is a high-quality student instrument.

Cosmetically, this instrument is overall in Excellent condition. There are some issues, like some scratching around on the bell and. Portions where the instrument makes contact with the body, on the U, and on a few other places. There is a dent on the U joint.

That said, it looks very polished overall and looks good on stage. There is also some minor plate wear on the bare nickel keys. In terms of playability, though, there are no issues. We have refreshed this instrument, replaced several worn pads and regulated it to play perfectly.

The case is brand new and includes backpack straps for easy transport. See the photos below for a better idea of its condition. That said, this instrument is a fine musical instrument and plays effortlessly. It has a mellow, powerful sounds that you won't find on.

In addition to the Saxophone, you will receive a mouthpiece and ligature, as well as a neck strap, cleaning swab, cork grease, and new Vandoren reed: everything you need to get started and take good care of your new instrument for years to come. We actually fix the instruments we sell! We care about how all our instruments sound and play, and our feedback record reflects that.

This process takes hours for each individual horn and would normally cost several hundred dollars at your local music shop. This 10+ point process means replacing worn and damaged pads, adjusting the position of leaky pads to seal properly, adjusting and replacing damaged springs, making sure the instrument is regulated to play all alternate fingerings, replacing loose cork connectors, instrument cleaning, oiling, playtesting, and steralizing the instrument. You can be assured that when you receive the instrument it will be in top playing condition.
