1949 King Super 20 Tenor Saxophone Sterling Silver Neck Full Pearls Rare

White King Super 20 tenor saxophone. The pads/corks are in fair condition and new pads may be required for optimal performance.

This tenor saxophone has full pearls, a double socket sterling silver neck and has visible bell/key engraving. There are no major dents present and several minor dings don't affect performance. The tenor sax has scratches throughout from normal use and almost all of the lacquer is missing. Some of the upper and lower stack key pearls have noticeable wear.

The matching neck/body serial number is in the low 298, xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1949. This has the potential to be a real gem with some TLC. Several key guards show signs of having been re-soldered, one of the clothes guard screws is missing and a minor crack is present in the outer neck socket(at the neck screw tightening slot).
