All keys move freely, the newer pads are in good condition with possibly the original resonators and the key work is tight. There are no major dents present, several minor dings don't affect performance and the neck appears to be original with no signs of pull down. The body neck strap ring appears to have been moved at some point in time.
This tenor sax has minor scratches throughout from normal use and the lacquer wear is minimal, with approximately 95% of the lacquer(looks original) intact. The serial number is in the lower 56xx range, which places the year of manufacture to approximately 1958. Included is a used Buffet Crampon "Lifton" wood shell case(latches spring open/catch/function as intended, interior has wear and the instrument blocking has been modified with sound absorbing foam added on the bottom, the exterior has some wear and case edge stitching is worn and somewhat loose) and a wood end plug.
