As you can see, most of the lacquer on the horn is gone - it was like that when I bought it. That tells me that it lived an exciting and busy career in its first 30 years. I got an overhaul on the saxophone in 2016 and since then have taken it in for servicing and pad replacement several times a month.
In 2018 I decided to put a brace on the neck to insure that the neck would not bend down. This is a design that was used by Conn saxophones which I always thought was smart. This is a great horn and with the right about of care and up keep it will work tremendously for you!
