Conn Shooting Star Students Tenor Saxophone with Mouth Piece & Case. Conn Shooting Star Saxophone with mouthpiece and hard case. We believe this is an Saxophone for a student. It serial number is #171 which we believe gives it a date of 1983. It comes with a Goldentone Plastic mouthpiece with a cover for it.

The Case is a hard brown case that latches shut. It has a soft black material inside.

This Saxophone is in very used condition; there are a lot of scratches, dents and scuffs all throughout its body, this saxophone will need some proper work to it to make it playable. The keys look like some need to be padded again. There is a lot of discoloration throughout this Saxophone. The mouthpiece has been used very well and it has areas worn down from previous owners using it and scratches all over it. The ligature has corrosion on it but it is still able to function.

The cover for the mouthpiece has some knicks and builds up on it. The case has some scuffs and scratches on the outside and the inside's material is not in the greatest condition; there is discoloration, build-up and wear throughout it. There is a tear on the bottom where the Sax lays on it. It has an older musty smell to it. The neck screw is intact but worn some. There is a music sheet holder included, it is in fair condition with the emblem off of it and it is discolored. (See pictures for full details). We did try it some and it does have a good sound; some of the keys do not play properly. The Octave key does not work the piece does not touch to open it.
