#243xxx with Art Deco Engraving. My guess is that this is a first lacquer. The horn sports very dark lacquer and looks great cosmetically. Physically it is in excellent well cared for shape.

Take a good look at the photos and see how well cared for its been. I just had the horn serviced by Maestro Woodwinds who went through and set it up and changed any pads that needed it. The horn plays fully and beautifully. Unusual for a Conn is how sweet and rich the upper end of the horn is. Its got a mammoth sound, the neck is in great shape and is one of those excellent necks that enhances any horn its on.

Jerry Bergonzi tried this neck on some of his Conn's and loved it. Comes in the original case, clean and functional with no musty odors. Just one of the eight outer metal corner pieces is missing a couple of its rivets. A Conn lovers dream, this one!
