MARTIN COMMITTEE III TENOR SAXOPHONE. SERIAL # 166784 Circa 1948 - 1949 (75 plus yrs old and looks nearly New). This Martin Committee III Tenor saxophone has by Far the Nicest Original Lacquer that I have ever had my hands on. Kudos to the Original Owner for taking such Excellent Care of his Pride and Joy. I Played/Tested this remarkable Tenor just after I brought it home; I oiled the keys and put the ol mpc on it to try it out and see if it played well or not with the Older (and maybe original) Pads.

And, the Keys all responded very well, which suggests to me that this Tenor was Gently Played and always well cared for. Dropped of this Tenor at the shop for a New Neck cork to be added, and a Pro-Regulation, so that this Tenor will play well for its newest and only 2nd owner.

I always enjoy playing Martin Saxophones, (especially MartinTenors), for they have an excellent tone quality and lots of volume there too! Check out the photos, and you will see exactly what I mean about how Pristine this Tenor is. There are Zero signs of prior repairs, and the only ding that I could find on tis Tenor is one of the it that one of the key guard feet on the low Eb Key Guard is pushed in a little. If he thinks that by removing the ding in this spot, that the original lacquer may crack, then it will not be removed. This ding is purely cosmetic.

The Serial Number on the neck matches the body. Any questions let me know, and thanks for taking a look. The item "MARTIN COMMITTEE III TENOR SAXOPHONE PRISTINE ORGL COND WithEXCELLENT ORGL CASE" is in sale since Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
