This is an absolutely gorgeous Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone with a 93xxx serial number! The horn has a very special focused sound with effortlessly light action, and it's probably one of the better Mark VI's you will have ever play.

It's almost 60 years old and looks very striking. Long ago it was re-lacquered and there are scuffs and signs of use as there should be on a horn of this age. There is one minor issue I noticed and it's just a felt that falls off one of the bottom guards, other than that this horn plays and feels like a sports car when compared to other instruments. Please take a look at the pictures for an idea of the instrument's cosmetic condition! The original case has seen better days, but it's in great condition when considering its age. It has room for a flute and an internal removable clarinet case! In addition to the saxophone a Navarro Bebop Special 7 mouthpiece, Rovner ligature, Hercules stand, and Rico padded strap are all included. This is a lethal combination and you'll be ready to rock!
