If you're looking for a classic Mark VI with few miles on it, this is your find. It's a beautiful instrument in superb shape that has literally been tucked away in the closet since 1976. Manufactured in 1970 (according to an online search) it was a high school band instrument retained all these years for sentimental reasons. Shines brightly with its original lacquer. Comes in the authentic tri-pack Selmer hard case, which has room for a clarinet and flute, and can stand on its end.
It has a small dent below the thumb rest, and approximately nine inches of the stitching on the case (near the handle) is loose. The top of the original neck has predictably lost some luster from normal use back in the day. Other than that, it has a few scratches from the mere six years it was played, but overall, it shines like a diamond and is raring to go.
