SELMER SBA & MARK VI TENOR CHESTERFIELD TRAY-PAC SAXOPHONE CASE Includes Clarinet insert case. I've taken several photos of the Vintage Selmer Tenor Case so that you can see for yourself just how Nice the Condition is of this Vintage Case.

I've consulted an Authority on Luggage / Suitcases about the age of tis case, and he shared that based on his years of knowledge of working with Luggage / Suitcases, this Case was manufactured between 1950 - 1959. He installed a Brand New "Matching" Handle on the front. The handle on the right side of the case is in. Good overall condition, so I did not have it replaced. Take a look at the White Stitching on the edges of this case, and you will see that the majority of this stitching is intact.

There are a few dings on the case from use, and some slight edge wear too, on a couple of areas on of the piping. Both latches work, however, the spring on the left latch does not recoil. 312743862266 , for aside from the Selmer medallion not being on this case, it is the same case. The Clarinet case shows a bit more wear than the Case itself. I'm thinking maybe the original owner played more Clarinet then his Tenor, and simply carried the Clarinet case with him, vs.

Carrying the case, to simply to use his Clarinet. Plus, this case did have a cover on it. The open/close snap on the accessory compartment does not work; the original owner fabricated a short attachment so that he could open the lid. The Original Owner added an additiona Flute Case Bracket. Not a clue about this, unless he played an alto flute?

Excellent Vintage Case to protect for your Pride & Joy. I've not seen many Vintage Selmer Tenor Cases as nice as this one unless it was tucked away in a closet for many years, and still contained the saxophone. Any questions, let me know, and thanks for taking a look. The item "SELMER SBA & MARK VI TENOR SAXOPHONE CASE EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CIRCA 1950 1959" is in sale since Monday, September 30, 2019.
