Vintage 1951 PAN AMERICAN 60M Tenor Sax with Berg Larsen 95-1-M Metal Mouthpiece and Conn Case. This classic Pan American tenor has been cleaned and adjusted, and plays great with a clear, full tone on the included Berg Larsen 95-1-M metal mouthpiece. Pads, corking, and felts are all in good condition with springs showing quick action. Cosmetically there are no major dents, a few dings on the bow and neck, a couple very small dings on the bell lip, and some scuffs and scratches on the back tube. The lacquer finish has darkened a bit and has held up nicely - the neck does show some noticeable finish wear. The Berg mouthpiece is also very nice and plays great with the horn. Note that the baffle has been opened up a little for a better tone. The Conn case is in wonderful shape and is very sturdy. Included with the case are a new red microfiber polishing cloth, a cleaned pad saver, a new neckstrap, and the Berg Larsen mouthpiece w/Berg Larsen ligature, a metal cap, and Rico Plasticover reed. This tenor's reputation is this:The Pan American 60M is the poor man's 10M (Conn Naked Lady).
