Martin Handcraft Committee II Tenor Saxophone. The serial number 132966 dates it at approximately 1939. This tenor has the standard Martin soldered toneholes and is in very nice condition with brass lacquered body/neck and nickel silver keywork.
The bell engraving is very ornate with a vertical art deco MARTIN down the middle. There is a crown above MARTIN, a lion to the left and Handcraft ELKHART-IND-USA below. It is in need of Complete Repad & Mechanical Overhaul. There lacquer & plating show minor wear and scratching throughout, but overall the body is in decent condition. There are a few minor dings but nothing major.
Includes the original neck with matching serial number. The original hardshell case is in pretty nice functional condition for its age. Check out our other musical items!
