Vintage 1952 51xxx Selmer Super Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone with SKB Case

It has been relacquered, however the engraving and logo scripts are still very visible. It is sitting currently on slightly older pads and does play top to bottom, however I would recommend having this horn overhauled by your preferred technician for it to be in perfect playing shape. Overall, the body is in good condition. It has some small dents near the bottom bow and thumb hook, one small resolder on the top post of the low C keyguard and a spot of wear on the front of the bell - I asked the original owner about this and he said this was there because he used a stand for the horn that didnt have cushioning in that spot so it wore out over time as it came in contact with the horn (see picture). And its missing the lyre screw. The neck is original and has never been pulled down, I just put new neck cork on it. There are two small dents on one side of the neck but they dont affect playability all.

It comes in an SKB hard shell contoured case which is in good shape overall.
