It should not take more than a tweak to get it back into playing condition - it may need a pad or a few potentially replaced. Most of the pads are in good shape. Overall the horn is in good shape with typical player wear. Once it has had the appropriate adjustment to be back in playing condition this should be a fantastic horn for your student level player!

Instrument Condition: The overall physical condition of this used instrument is. This instrument is currently in. The Key Plating: Approximately 80-85% of the original key plating remains b. Ut they could stand to be buffed. There is light player wear to the touch spots.

It has approximately 80-85% of the lacquered finish. Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings). The Bell : Almost no dents. And minor bell lip pull down. Has a light dent in the bow guard and/or a small ding (See Pics).

Pad Condition: Combination of newer used and older used. Pads with a majority of them being good used condition. The Neck: has approximately 80-85% of the finish remaining with. Light wear (general player wear). The Mouthpiece: A good used student mouthpiece, ligature and neck strap are included.

The Stand: If pictured, not included. Good Used Condition SKB case (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches). Engraving: Yamaha Japan (on the bell) Yamaha YTS-23 (above the serial number with the Yamaha tuning fork logo on the bell to body brace and the octave key).
